Prohibited Activities

Recipixy World is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, safe, and lawful community where food lovers can share, discover, and celebrate recipes. To protect our users, our brand, and the legal standards set by United States law, we enforce a strict set of prohibited activities. Any violation may result in immediate account suspension, removal of content, and possible legal action.

  • Illegal Use – Engaging in any activity that violates federal, state, or local statutes is strictly forbidden. This includes, but is not limited to, the distribution of copyrighted material without permission, the promotion of illicit substances, and the facilitation of fraud or identity theft. Users must not use Recipixy World to conduct or encourage criminal conduct of any kind.
  • Content Scraping & Unauthorized Data Harvesting – Automated tools, bots, spiders, or any other means of extracting, copying, or aggregating site content, user‑generated recipes, images, or metadata without explicit written consent from Recipixy World are prohibited. This also covers the resale or redistribution of scraped data on external platforms.
  • Spamming & Unsolicited Bulk Messaging – Sending repetitive, irrelevant, or commercial messages to other members, posting mass invitations, or using the platform to distribute bulk email or direct‑message campaigns is not allowed. This includes posting the same comment or promotional link across multiple recipes, forums, or user profiles.
  • Posting Harmful or Dangerous Content – Any material that encourages violence, self‑harm, hate speech, or the spread of misinformation about food safety is strictly banned. Users must not share recipes that contain illegal ingredients, instructions for creating harmful substances, or content that could reasonably cause physical injury or health risks.
  • Unauthorized Commercial Use – Recipixy World is a non‑commercial community platform. Users may not exploit the site for direct profit without prior written permission. This includes, but is not limited to, selling access to premium recipe collections, embedding affiliate links without disclosure, using the brand’s trademarks for advertising, or operating a storefront within the site.
  • Infringement of Intellectual Property Rights – Uploading, reposting, or linking to content that you do not own or have not licensed is prohibited. This covers copyrighted recipes, photographs, videos, and trademarks. Users must obtain proper permissions before sharing third‑party material.

Termination

Termination of Your Recipixy World Account

At Recipixy World, we love sharing delicious ideas, but sometimes accounts need to be paused or ended. This section explains your rights and responsibilities when we suspend, delete, or terminate an account. We keep the process transparent, friendly, and respectful of your culinary journey.

Account Suspension Rights

We reserve the right to temporarily suspend your account if we detect:

  • Violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.
  • Suspicious activity that could compromise the security of our platform.
  • Repeated non‑payment of any applicable subscription fees.

During a suspension, you will receive an email explaining the reason and the steps needed to restore full access. If the issue isn’t resolved within the stipulated period (usually 30 days), we may move to permanent termination.

Account Deletion Process

Want to say goodbye? Deleting your Recipixy World account is simple:

  • Log in to your dashboard and navigate to Settings > Account Management.
  • Choose “Delete Account.” You’ll be prompted to confirm your choice and provide a brief reason (optional).
  • Verify your identity. For security, we’ll send a verification code to your registered email.
  • Confirm deletion. Once confirmed, all personal data will be removed from active servers within 48 hours.

Note: Any content you’ve contributed (recipes, reviews, photos) that is publicly licensed under our community terms will remain accessible unless you explicitly request its removal.

Terms That Survive Termination

Even after your account is closed, certain provisions continue to protect both parties:

  • Intellectual Property Rights. Licenses you granted for shared content remain in effect.
  • Indemnification. Obligations to indemnify Recipixy World for past actions persist.
  • Limitation of Liability. Limits on damages continue to apply.
  • Governing Law & Dispute Resolution. These clauses survive any termination.

Consequences of Termination

When your account is terminated, the following occurs:

  • Immediate loss of access to all personalized features (saved recipes, shopping lists, and premium content).
  • Deletion of your personal profile, contact information, and any unpublished drafts.
  • Retention of publicly shared content under the original licensing terms.
  • Inability to reopen the same account; a new account must be created if you wish to return.

We hope you’ve enjoyed the flavors and community at Recipixy World. If you have questions about suspension or deletion, please reach out to our support team at [email protected]. Happy cooking, now and always!

Modifications to Terms

Modifications to Terms

At Recipixy World, we keep our kitchen—and our policies—fresh. Just as recipes evolve with seasonal ingredients, our Terms of Service may be updated from time to time to reflect new features, legal requirements, or improvements to your user experience.

Our Right to Change

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or replace any portion of these terms at our sole discretion. Changes may be prompted by regulatory updates, enhancements to the platform, or feedback from our community of food lovers. Rest assured, any alteration will be made with the same care we use when perfecting a signature dish.

How You’ll Be Notified

Transparency is a key ingredient in our relationship with you. When we update the terms, we will:

  • Post a clear notice on the Recipixy World homepage or dashboard, highlighting the most significant changes.
  • Send an email alert to the address associated with your account, summarizing the updates and providing a direct link to the full text.
  • Include a brief announcement in our monthly newsletter, ensuring that even the most occasional visitor stays informed.

These notifications will be issued at least fourteen (14) days before the new terms take effect, giving you ample time to review the changes.

Continued Use = Acceptance

Just as you would taste a new sauce before deciding to serve it, your continued use of Recipixy World after the notification period signifies your acceptance of the revised terms. By accessing or interacting with any part of the site—whether posting a recipe, commenting on a blog post, or simply browsing—you agree to be bound by the updated agreement.
